~ Annual Outdoor Service & Picnic
Most years is held on the last Sunday of July, the congregations (Hampton & Eldad) gather at the shelter in Solina Park for an outdoor service.
The service usually includes communion and is followed by a potluck lunch.
All are Welcome and the service starts at 10:00 am (check calendar to confirm next years date, if not noted below.)
Last held on Sunday, July 28th, 2019. “Celebrating Summertime with Gospel songs” were led by Jennifer and Shawn.
~ Community Luncheon or Dinner
Our thank you to the community for supporting the church throughout the year.
Held @ the Church twice a year, generally in April and October (check calendar to confirm next date, if not noted below.)
Next date: April 11th (Thursday) – Hampton Women United hosting a Soup & Dessert Community Dinner 4pm-6pm. All welcome! Free will offering.
~ Down East Night
Down East Night is a great evening of music and entertainment held at Hampton United Church in the C.E. wing.
Begins with a Pot Luck Supper at 6:00pm followed at 7:30pm by an evening of Music and Entertainment provided by the Geissberger families and friends.
Freewill offering to support the Church.

~ Euchre Club
We’re back as of March 10, 2022!
Wednesday evenings – 7:00 pm Hampton United Church in the C.E.Wing (September – July).
The euchre club meets weekly for an enjoyable evening of cards and fellowship. There is a small charge for participating and participants bring a potluck snack for the end of the evening. The majority of funds raised are donated to the church. This group is open to anyone who is interested in a night of cards and you are welcome to come once, once in a while, or every Wednesday.
History: The Euchre Club has been meeting for approximately 30 years. They met initially at the Hampton Community Hall for the first couple of months, then to keep costs down moved to the gym at M.J. Hobbs School for approximately a year. The next and final move was to Hampton United Church where they continue to meet in the church’s C.E. Wing.
No program runs without people to organize, set-up, and run the evening. So thanks go out to the following people who have shared in that roll over the years: Muriel Yeo, Ruth Farrow, Wilma Kantor, Vivian Barrett, Laura Zych, Barb Cochrane, and currently Glenn & Carlene Croucher.

~ Men’s Breakfast Club
We’re back as of November 26, 2022!
The Men’s Breakfast Club of Columbus/Eldad/Hampton/Kedron are having their first meeting back @ Columbus United Church on Sat. Nov. 26th. Gathering time is 8:00 am.
The Eldad/Hampton and Kedron Men’s Breakfast group has grown. In January 2018 additional churches joined the group: Columbus, and Oshawa churches Northminster and St. Stephens. 
Meals are now usually held at Columbus on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m., during the months of October through May.

We vote as a group on how we want to disburse any money over and above expenses. Columbus usually looks after the cooking, but we all offer to butter toast, set tables or clean up, helping wherever we can. We have speakers at the odd meeting or someone from the group speaks about their career or an interest of theirs.
All men from the churches and communities are invited to come enjoy a time of fellowship, a hot breakfast with coffee and juice, and once a year at the May breakfast the ladies are invited to join the group.
