2019 Yard & Bake Sale

A special Thank You to all of you who so generously . . . .

  • donated items for the yard sale,
  • baked for the bake table,
  • attended Saturday and purchased items, and
  • for the many hands it took for set-up, pricing, selling, and clean-up.

A special thank you also to the Hampton Community Association for placing notice of the sale on the sign in front of Hampton Hall.

It was a great success due to everyone’s generosity! Continue reading “2019 Yard & Bake Sale”

  • All who made donations to the food table, silent auction and penny auction.
  • Those volunteers who donated their time by making crafts, setting-up, managing the different areas, and the clean-up crew, we couldn’t have done it without you.

2018 Spring is here!

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day Geraniums – everyone was invited to bring a geranium plant(s) on Mother’s Day in honour/memory of their Mother/Grandmother. Upon arrival plant stakes and cards where available to write who was being honoured and inserted into the plant. Then you placed your plant in a window or at the front of the church — after May 24th they would be planted in the church flower beds and planters by Barb and Karen.

Spring Clean-Up

Spring clean-up day took place inside and outside the church.  Notice the front door,  the metal railings and flower urns were all given a fresh coat of paint. Sidewalks were weeded and edged. Windows inside and out were cleaned. A new container was placed at the back entrance to hide the recycling and garbage containers earlier in the month. The list goes on and on….

Thanks to everyone who came out and added their elbow grease to the project, many hands make light work!
